2012: Year in Review

In 2012, I:

Visited another continent. (Europe. I went to Belgium and the Netherlands).

Got more healthy.

I can accomplish tasks now that would have baffled or scared me three years ago.

I became more curious about the world and people.

I put down my video games and recently began to reduce my time spent fucking around on the internet.

Took drawing even more seriously. I draw every day now. It's a powerful habit that is just a part of what I do now. I carried my sketchbook everywhere and went through about one sketchbook every two months at most.

Sought out help on how to be more successful.

I started to re-learn French, and I'm doing pretty good at it, considering I'm teaching myself.

Narrated stories.

Put the pieces together and discovered my own medium.

I started to realize that I have to not be ashamed to speak and show who I am even more. It's the only way I'm going to have success with my videos. All my life, people have been telling me that I should try out radio, and I always ignored it. I think the radio is too restrictive. Podcasting is great because you have creative control.

In 2013, I want to make the best videos and interviews I can. I want to encourage other people to work hard and encourage me by doing so. I want to travel to France (probably in March), and I want to interview people who are on my list, as well as strangers.

How was 2012 for you?

Sketch Cast Episode 3: Moon Temple

DSC Episode 3. It was very fun to interview Moon Temple. This is getting pretty fun for me, and while it's a lot of work, it doesn't feel like a lot of work. I think that means that I'm doing something right.

I'm writing a comic.

It's tentatively called "Requiem", and I can't wait to show it to you. It's going to have super powered individuals dealing with a lot of personal issues, and enough action scenes to keep you interested.

This story is different from all of my others because I have a distinct end in mind. I can finish this, and it's not going to go on forever. I plan on presenting it as a graphic novel to whatever publishing company will have it.

Happy holidays, and I hope you're being productive.
